SSIEM 2021 Adult Metabolic Course

We are glad to announce and invite you to apply for the upcoming SSIEM 2021 Adult Metabolic Course!

The course will take place online in a format of four consecutive workshops on September 27 and 28, 2021 and aims to provide an introduction into the biochemical basis, pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of Inherited Metabolic Diseases (IMDs) in adult medicine. Two months prior to the course, selected participants will receive online lectures addressing theoretical knowledge on Inherited Metabolic Diseases in adults

How to apply?
Course application is accessible here - potential delegates need to apply on the platform by submitting a one-page CV and a letter of motivation, which should describe in detail which current or future role the applicant shall play in the field. As places are limited, if the course is oversubscribed there will be a selection process and completion of the application form will not guarantee a place on the course.

Who should apply?
Adult physicians (especially neurologists, endocrinologists, internists, hepatologists, geneticists, etc.) with some basic knowledge of and exposure to IMDs that wish to acquire further knowledge of these disorders.

Please see all detailed information here.

Best regards
