SOCIETY FOR THE STUDY
OF INBORN ERRORS OF METABOLISM

Journal of Inherited Metabolic Diseases

The Society publishes six to eight issues of the Journal of Inherited Metabolic Disease each year (JIMD). This publication is supplied free of charge to paid up members. Some of the issues are used to publish selected papers from the annual scientific meeting.

Mailing of the Journal of Inherited Metabolic Diseases

The issues of the JIMD are normally distributed at intervals of between 6-8 weeks. Three weeks before publication we receive advice from the publishers to forward details of members entitled to receive the JIMD i.e. those members who have paid their subscriptions for the current year. Members who have paid their subscriptions by the beginning of January will be listed for the JIMD mailing in January: those whose subscriptions are received by the end of February will have the first two issues sent in March and so on. Journals are not despatched between issues. Therefore to avoid delay in receiving the JIMD and accessing the JIMD on line, early payment of the subscription is strongly recommended.

Please note: Names and addresses are taken from the database of members that is held on a computer. In order to ensure the JIMD is correctly addressed you should advise of any change of address giving, wherever possible at least six weeks notice.

As the Journals are sent by surface mail, allow sufficient time before enquiring.
