• About the Society:

  The main tasks of the Metabolic Diseases Section of the Croatian Pediatric Society are:

  • to promote awareness of inherited metabolic diseases and related local and international diagnostic possibilities
  • disseminate knowledge on inborn errors of metabolism
  • set up a network of pediatricians who could provide additional care quality of patients suffering from metabolic diseases throughout Croatia
  • and foster collaboration of specialists of various disciplines in order to improve management of patients.
  The Section supports research of inherited metabolic diseases and international collaboration.
