  • About the Society:

    The objects of the Society is to; "Relieve persons suffering from inherited metabolic disease by advancing the education of persons involved in the care and treatment of such persons and to promote research into the treatment of inherited metabolic disease".

    The Aims of the Society is to; "Promote discussion, education and research by those involved in the care and management of patients with inherited metabolic disease".

    Membership of the organisation shall be open to anyone involved in the care and management of inherited metabolic disease and shall include clinicians, dieticians, laboratory staff, nurses and other professionals with related interests working within the British Isles (currently over 300 members). The main methods of education are the Annual General Meeting and the Bulletin.

Membership of the Society is open to all interested in and willing to support the aims of the Society.
