International Network for Fatty Acid Oxidation Research and Management Symposium

23-24 August 2026, Helsinki

For more than 13 years, SSIEM and ICIEM have invited INFORM to participate as a satellite symposium at their annual meetings. Under the leadership of Dr. Jerry Vockley and with guidance from an international organizing committee, INFORM has contributed significantly to advancing the global understanding and care of fatty acid oxidation disorders (FAODs).

INFORM is founded on the belief that clinicians caring for patients with inborn errors of metabolism (IEM) often manage a broad spectrum of conditions within a single practice. By supporting focused, IEM-centered educational initiatives, INFORM aims to strengthen knowledge and improve care across the metabolic community.

On behalf of Dr. Vockley and the organizing committee, we invite you to attend the INFORM Symposium, taking place August 23–24, 2026, in Helsinki, Finland, immediately preceding the SSIEM meeting. This high-impact meeting brings together leading clinicians, researchers, and industry partners to advance the understanding and management of FAODs, foster collaboration, and demonstrate a shared commitment to improving patient outcomes. https://informnetwork.org/annual-meeting/
